I received my dual PhD degree (Machine Learning and Data Mining) at the University of Technology Sydney in Australia and Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China in 2015. I joined La Trobe after almost three years at IBM Research Australia where I was working as a Postdoc on Watson Education and Health. Before I joined IBM Research Australia, I was a Data Specialist at University of New South Wales (UNSW) and a Visiting Researcher at University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Some of my received awards: "Best Paper Award in PAKDD13", "Top 200 Young Researchers Globally and Romberg Grant Award by HLF16", “Young Global Changer by G20/T20 Germany”, "IBM External Honors", etc. My main research interest is in making sense of big data with effective, agile and interactive data analytics, especially in Health care area. Currently, I am working on AI on Autism Screening. |
